Cool! :)

Still a shame to see it be reduced to sitting on display. I hope someone else can start funding these projects... :(

Thanks. I wish that the shuttle program would have continued funding :(

Don't we all wish they'd still allow these ladies to fly.

Incidentally, since i'm a stickler for detail, I just wanted to point out that Enterprise never left the atmosphere, as it was a testbed.

I'm glad Udvar Hazy got Discovery, though.

Interesting photo, but I still think this one should be at the National Museum of the USAF.

Thank you! I agree, while I think that it's pretty cool that NY got a shuttle I think it didn't really deserve it.

This is how I think Shuttle distribution should have gone

Enterprise- Stay at the Smithsonian
Discovery- Kennedy Space Center
Atlantis- Houston
Endeavor- National Museum of the USAF

I would have been happy if any of them had been sent to NMUSAF. The Air Force has played a very big role in shuttle ops. Also, the NMUSAF does not charge admission.

NASA and the feds didn't really think the shuttle donations through.
