So again it's been a while since an update. Things are going well, except for the fact that I haven't really gone out shooting lately. I'm hoping that everything will change in the next few weeks with the leaves changing and the fact that I took a major step in my journey to become a professional photographer. This step was a combination of two things, one being the purchase of a new camera body (I kept my old body as a backup/secondary) and the purchase of a monolight strobe kit. After careful thought and consideration I pick up a Canon EOS 7D and I could not be happier. The camera feels great in the hand and with the grip and I bought with it, everything is perfectly balanced.
I'm hoping to have new images up soon.

Long Time
It's been a LONG time since I've posted work here, so it seems like now is as best as any.
This summer has been amazing. My love and energy for photography has been reinvigorated by whales. Yes, that's right I said whales! I discovered that New York City has whale watching!!!!! Wait, don't think you heard that correct "whale watching" out of New York City. It's true!
Due to cleaner waters and returning bait fish many marine mammal species are returning to the waters off New York City (Rockaway/Long Island) and Northern New Jersey! I have been fortunate enough to become involved with Gotham Whale the organization that maintains the database
Almost a year
Wow, it's been almost a year since the last journal entry. A lot has happened in that time. I'm finally close to graduating college, I'm continuing to work on improving my technique and some other stuff. It's also been kind of quiet, I've been uninspired.
On another note, again I must apologize to any new watchers and those that have favorited work. I have not gotten to thanking anyone for either, so this is dedicated to you, Thank You all.

Welcome Home
Enterprise, OV-101 safe landed in NY today aboard the SCA. I unfortunately wasn't able to get out and see her fly over the city, but my old man got some shots that I will post later.

Prints
Hi All!
I'm thinking about putting several of my photos up for sale as prints. I'm due to graduate college soon and right now with no job I'm trying to save up for a few project, including a lighthouse tour of the Northeast US Coast and a new camera body.
If I were to open up photos for print purposes, would anyone buy them and which photos would you like to see as print?
As a side note, I am WAY behind on thanks for favs and watches, so sorry
